- The great man Bear Grylls he climbed Mount Everest at the age of 23 and registered record in Guinness book of world record he is great personality and a great adventure man and a T.V host in a show on discovery in MAN vs WILD adventure show .
- Tenzing Norgay was born on may 15, 1915 in 1935, at age 19, he accompanied a British expedition to Everest . He established a reputation as a renowned climber . He went on to became director of the Himalayan mountaineering institute in Darjeeling, and in 1978, published his autobiography, Man of Everest.
- sir Edmund Percival Hillary (born July 20, 1919) is a New Zealand mountaineer and explorer, most famous for the first successful climb of Mount Everest. He reached the 29,028-feet summit on may 29, 1953 with Sherpa guide Tenzing Norgay. Sir Edmund is the only living New Zealander to appear on a banknote.
